Global Youth Cubers Unite Online: Junior Cube Association Leads 200+ Young Participants in Record-Breaking Cube-Solving Challenge

Junior Cube Association

The Junior Cube Association, a leader in nurturing young cubing talents, has set its latest milestone—a world-record attempt with the India Book of Records. Over 200 young cubers from around the world participated in an online challenge to solve three beginner Rubik’s cubes within a span of 10 minutes. This event, targeting children under 18, has set a new group record in an inspiring demonstration of teamwork and skill.

For years, the Junior Cube Association has offered young Cubers opportunities to showcase their talents and achieve national and global recognition. Among their past achievements, the Association collaborated with the Noble Book of Records on an artistic initiative, creating a large Rubik’s cube mosaic at R City Mall in Mumbai for Children’s Day in 2023. This mosaic was a powerful reminder that cubing isn’t just about solving puzzles; it’s an art form and a medium for creativity.

India Book of Record attempt brings together a truly international roster, including participants from Switzerland, Qatar, and the United States. Noteworthy among them are some of the youngest cubers, such as Master Mahir Brabyria from Mumbai, aged just 4 years, 6 months, and 10 days, and Master Krishiv Modani, aged 4 years, 8 months, and 10 days. International competitors like Samnyu Narwankar from Switzerland, Rudarnsh Pillai from Qatar, and Guruman Gurvinder Singh Rehal from the USA further underscore the global enthusiasm for cubing among young talents.

The event was conducted via Zoom, with participants divided into groups of 16 per room under the supervision of certified adjudicators. To maintain fairness, each cube will be scrambled identically at the start. Organizers had arranged two preparatory sessions to guide the participants, helping them develop strategies and build confidence ahead of the official attempt.

The Junior Cube Association has set high standards in competitive cubing, with records in the Asia Book of Records, India Book of Records, Talent Book of Records, and Noble Book of Records. Over the past four years, it has empowered more than 5,000 young cubers, providing a supportive environment for them to showcase their skills.

This event will be a proud moment in cubing history, as hundreds of young talents come together to make their mark in the India Book of Records. With another championship scheduled for December, the Junior Cube Association is poised to continue inspiring young minds through the exciting world of cubing.
